The result? A fully integrated solution with App, Web, and Backoffice, designed for high usability and enhancing the overall SL Mandic experience.
Despite having an internal team and established infrastructure, SL Mandic struggled with legacy system errors, causing rework and downtime, impacting both students and staff. Unintegrated systems required over five credentials, and frequent bugs halted operations.
These challenges affected business performance, as some channels also served for student acquisition.
We assembled a multidisciplinary team of 10 professionals, including analysts, developers, and UX designers, to rebuild and modernize the platform.
Using established technologies like React for web and backoffice environments and Flutter for hybrid mobile apps (Android and iOS), we ensured a smooth development process.
UDS implemented a new cloud infrastructure on AWS for Mandic, guaranteeing elasticity and resilience, even with high user volumes.
Our primary focus was to create a user-friendly interface that delighted application users. It needed to be practical, with clear information and innovative, reflecting the institution’s standards.
Avida is a web and mobile application serving both teachers and students. The platform enables students to manage their entire academic life, from content management to financial oversight.
The platform is designed to manage every interaction between students and teachers or subjects, providing a comprehensive, robust solution.
Avida allows students to track academic progress, access activity calendars, view grades and attendance, and interact with teachers and peers.
It also includes a virtual library, important notifications, a help center, and financial management features for payments.
Avida integrates with other Mandic solutions, enabling single-login access, simplifying the user experience.
With a focus on usability and best UI/UX practices, Avida offers fluid, intuitive navigation, making academic management more efficient.
In addition to the Web and Mobile applications, we created the BackOffice, an essential tool for SL Mandic’s administrative team. This system focuses on the internal management of the Avida ecosystem.
React allows developers to break down the UI into smaller, reusable components, facilitating code maintenance and improving project organization.
Flutter is a framework that uses the Dart language, simplifying the development of applications for web, mobile, and desktop. It also enables creating a single solution for different operating systems in a streamlined manner.
CloudFront is an Amazon Web Services CDN that quickly and securely delivers static and dynamic content. Using a global network of edge servers, it delivers content from locations close to users, reducing latency and improving loading speeds.
